How Virtual Reality Is Transforming Education PART 2

What is Virtual Reality in Education?

VR allows users to be fully immersed in simulated environments through the use of headsets and software that include programs that provide new visual or 3D representations. In education, for example, students can visit historical landmarks, or dissect virtual body parts (no smell) or organisms (take that, ants) or simulate a scientific experiment from a classroom. Unlike books or projectors, VR is more a form of experiential learning that mixes previously learned theoretical knowledge with practice (theory is now applied and actionable).
