The Curse of Perfectionism: When Good Enough is Better Than Perfect PART 2

The Power of "Good Enough"

When we talk about "good enough," we don't mean we should accept mediocrity. We just mean we recognize that sometimes extra effort is not worth the improvement. This is why "good enough" is often better than perfection:

Progress over Perfection - Done is better than perfect. Taking action, even if imperfect, means we learn and grow.

Reduced Stress - Realizing that "good enough" is good enough can relieve some of the stress caused by dealing with unrealistic standards.

Increased Productivity - Since focusing on completion leads to more getting done, you can get more done in less time.

Greater Creativity - Perfectionism limits our ability to experiment. Allowing ourselves to be okay with imperfections gives space for more innovation and ability to adapt.
