Why Do We Seek Approval? The Need for External Validation PART 1

We've been conditioned to seek approval from a young age. First, our parents, then teachers, friends, and eventually society. The need for approval is a fundamental aspect of our human psychology, affecting the way we navigate decisions, self-worth, and even our identity. But why do we need approval? Is this need for approval getting in the way of our ability to accept ourselves?
